Since 2006, I have been at work on a biography of Floyd B. Odlum (1892-1976), the founder and CEO of the Atlas Corporation. I am attaching a document that combines an Author's Note, the Introduction to the book, and a 21-page, chapter-by-chapter summary of the contents. The Author's Note sets forth information on how to order a copy of the work-in-progress, which, while it is still incomplete, is already more than 275,000 words in length.
